nono's ox tail stew
1 ox tail (smaller bones for less fat)
onions - 2 diced
a mix of veggies, spuds, carrots, beans etc
brown ox tail in heavy bottom pot
add onions. cook till soft. set aside.
add: 1 tbsp coriander seed (grounded)
salt + pepper
1 tbs mustard
worcestershire sauce (approx 1 tbsp)
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp soy sauce
fry for 2 min
add ox tail and some beef stock. add veggies depending on how long they take to cook. thicken with gravy base.
cooking time can be up to 3hrs
